Diadeis Mission
The RENAULT group entrusted Diadeis with the responsibility of creating the communication media for its products. The aim is to adapt the commercial booklets of the various RENAULT subsidiary companies to the master files created by RENAULT.
To enable these adaptations, a collaborative tool named Perigee, accessible directly from the Internet, was designed. A unit responsible for the edition of the booklets was also created in order to ensure coordination between Central RENAULT, the subsidiary companies and the printers.

Process
During the setting up of the Perigee tool, Diadeis has taken over the running of the developments as well as the creation of functional specifications.
The service consists of:
Taking delivery of the master commercial booklet and integrating it into the editorial system created for this purpose. Once the booklet is available, the RENAULT subsidiary companies can begin the adaptation (changes on the texts, layout or images). The booklet is then transmitted via Perigee, the collaborative tool, to the edition unit.
Carrying out of an analysis of the brief received (examination of the requests requiring a validation). This analysis is done by the edition unit in close connection with Central RENAULT and, once this step is complete, the files are transmitted to the production team.
Editing the layout of the commercial booklets. Using the collaborative tool Perigee that not only enables the adaptation but also allows the validation of the booklets, the commercial booklets are then transmitted between the subsidiary companies of RENAULT and Diadeis.
The final product of this service is the PDF file delivered to the RENAULT printers.

Main challenge
The main challenge is to produce less expensive media booklets in a shorter lapse of time, taking into account the increase in the number of vehicles created and the number of countries concerned. The communication outlet must also be a means of attracting more and more customers to the brand.

Output
A PDF for each of the commercial booklets per country, sent to the printer.

Result
The cost and the production time of the brochures have greatly decreased thanks to the different measures put in place. The work of the different countries involved in the process has also been greatly simplified thanks to an efficient collaborative tool that controls all the information exchanges.
